Terrinye Goetz is an artist from Des Moines, Iowa. She paints wildlife, botanicals and a variety of subjects, primarily working in watercolor and acrylic. Terrinye creates animal art that ranges from realism to whimsical. Each piece requires multiple layers and tiny details. Her use of negative space creates a strong focus on her subjects and a more modern contemporary look. Her pieces are known by many for their stunning eyes that come alive and captivate the viewer. Her hard work, desire to learn and hone her craft is evident the minute you step into her studio. With a degree in education from Iowa State University, she has inspired and facilitated creative expression in her students both young and old, as both a classroom teacher and staff development instructor, while pursuing her own creative endeavors.
