A realistic still life journey showcased by strong light and shadows. I hope my exhibit feels like the perfect time to reflect on the quiet power of still life painting. I’ve shared glimpses of how these works slow time, honor the ordinary, and create a space for stillness and reflection. Each work holds the promise of discovery - a moment of pause to see the world anew. Still life is not just about objects; it’s about finding meaning in the overlooked and sharing that meaning with others. It’s about seeing beauty in the smallest things - a weathered book, ripe fruit, the gentle glow of light on old wood. In some ways, it invites us to pause, to reflect, and to reconnect with what matters most.
This show is an invitation to linger in those quiet moments, to let the stories told by light and texture speak. Behind each painting is a deeper process - a journey that starts in the studio and unfolds on the canvas. I invite you to join me on this journey.
